Sodiq Abubakar Yusuf popularly known as (CDQ) is a Nigerian indigenous Hip-hop rapper and Songwriter best known for his singles “Indomie” and “Nowo E Soke”. He was born on 6th May 1985 in Orile, a suburb of Lagos. He received his elementary and secondary education in Ilorin and then move down to lagos to earn for himself a bachelor degree in Economics. He hails from Kwara State.

CDQ got into music in 2002 when he did his debut concert in school with a lot of big star in the music industry attending. It was a huge success for him and the concert brought him a big fame in school and his neighborhood. He started music professionally in 2008 when he used to be a back-up singer for Da Grin before he started rapping in English with M.I in 2013. On December 2012, He won a rap battle in a night show at Oriental Hotel Lagos, where he got notice by Nigerian.
After winning a rap battle at the weekly Industry Nite in December 2012. CDQ signed a record deal with Masterkraft’s General Records.
The rapper released his debut single titled “SUALA” under General Records Imprint the song was heavily accepted in radio and TV station in the Country and was produced by Masterkraft.
