Popular Nigerian actor, producer, and director Femi Adebayo were born on 31 December 1974. He is the son of veteran actor Salami Adebayo. Although he was born in Lagos state the actor is from Ilorin, Kwara State. He bagged a bachelor’s degree from the University of Ilorin where he studied Law before obtaining a master’s degree in Theatre Arts from the same institution.
He kicked started his acting career in 1995 when he featured in “Owo Blow” a Tade Ogidan movie. The actor has since risen to fame playing major roles in English and Yoruba movies which includes Kunle Afolayan award-winning October 1, Ayitale, Anini, Alagbaa, Omo University among numerous others.

The actor has won numerous awards and accolades notable among them include best Yoruba actor at the 17th African Film Awards which is also known as the Afro Hollywood Awards held at the Stratford Town Hall in London. He also won the City People Entertainment Award for the Best Movie Producer of the year in 2015. In 2012, he also won the best Yoruba actor award from Nollywood Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria Awards. The actor in addition to being a trained Lawyer is the CEO of J-15 media network a media firm in Nigeria.

The actor was once married to a first wife named Khadijat who is the mother of his three kids. The couple was married for eight years before going their separate ways. Femi’s new wife worked as an air hostess before starting her own business a Cafe in the heart of Lagos which makes it possible for her to support herself and her family.
